Joe M. Cox II, CFP ®

Background

Joe started his financial planning career with CIGNA Individual Financial Services in 1983. He then co-founded Fleming, Perry & Cox, Inc. in 1987. Joe’s responsibilities are to create, manage, and update financial plans and financial modeling software. In helping to provide financial planning and management to high-net-worth individuals, Joe has developed proprietary financial modeling software to resolve retirement, investment, and estate planning issues. These models utilize both static and dynamic variable (stochastic) modeling and are the framework of our financial planning platform.

Joe is a senior managing director of Webster Wealth Advisors. As an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, he holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities registrations, as well as life, health, and accident insurance licenses. Joe has more than 30 years of experience in financial planning and management. 

Joe, his wife Terri, and son Michael, lived in Wilton, Connecticut for many years and recently moved to New Canaan, Connecticut. Joe coached youth lacrosse for more than 10 years, served on Wilton’s Board of Parks and Recreation, and chaired the Wilton High School Planning Committee. Joe also has served his alma mater, Johns Hopkins, as a distinguished member of the Second Decade Society. Joe enjoys bicycling, traveling, playing the guitar, and spending time on the beach.

Background

Chris joined Fleming, Perry & Cox in 1997. His responsibilities are to create, manage, and update financial plans. He works with individual clients through every phase of the financial planning process to discern life objectives, present multiple strategies, and develop implementation plans that help clients to reach personal goals. He serves on the Webster Wealth Advisors investment committee and oversees portfolio modeling and investment selection. 

Chris is a senior managing director of Webster Wealth Advisors. As an investment adviser representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, he holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, as well as life, health, accident, and variable insurance licenses. 

Chris is very active in his community and serves St. Matthew's Episcopal Church on its Endowment Development Committee and as chair of its Finance Committee. He is a former Vestry member. Chris serves on the Board of Managers for Camp Dudley (YMCA) as treasurer and chair of both the Finance and Investment committees. Chris also serves as treasurer and fundraising chair for the local Boy Scouts (Troop 125) and fcndraising Chair for the Cub Scouts (Pack 22). He serves as an advisor to the Wilton Student Financial Aid Committee. Chris is a former member of the Kent School Board of Trustees and is past-president of the Kent School Alumni Association and Camp Dudley (YMCA) Association.

Chris was born and raised in Wilton, Connecticut. He and his wife, Alison, continue to reside in Wilton with their sons, Endy and Sam, and daughter, Amanda. Chris and Alison are members of Silver Spring Country Club. Chris enjoys spending his free time with his family, serving as a coach and mentor in various youth programs, playing all sports (particularly golf, softball, and paddle tennis), traveling, going to movies, and participating in his local community.
